This policy explains what information the Sudoku Master app ("the App") collects and how we use it. By using the App, you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

• Account. When you sign in with Google or play as a guest, we create an account identified by a unique ID. You choose a username and avatar, and we generate a friend code so others can add you.
• Age confirmation. Before you start playing, we ask you to confirm you are 13 or older. We store only that you gave this confirmation — we never ask for or store your date of birth.
• Gameplay. Puzzles you play and complete, including times, scores, hints, mistakes, the finished grid, and your rank and statistics.
• Social and matches. Your friends, friend requests, and competitive matches and their results.
• Notifications. If you turn on notifications, we store a device messaging token and your reminder preferences.
• Device and usage information. We and our service providers may collect device identifiers and information about how you use the App to operate, secure, analyze, and improve it, and to show ads where applicable.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to create and manage your account; save and sync your progress; calculate scores, ranks, and leaderboards; run friends and match features; send notifications you turn on; keep competition fair and prevent cheating; analyze and improve the App; and display advertising where applicable.

3. Service providers and sharing

We use Google Firebase for sign-in, data storage, backend functions, and notifications. We may also use analytics and advertising providers; these providers may collect device identifiers and usage data to perform their services. Some information — your username, avatar, country, and competitive results — is visible to other players on leaderboards and in matches. Note: we do not collect your country, and leaderboards are global. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law.

4. Your choices

• You can permanently delete your account and associated data from within the App.
• You can export a copy of your data from within the App.
• You can turn notifications off at any time.

5. Children

The App is not intended for children under 13. Before playing, we ask you to confirm you are 13 or older, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

6. Security

We protect data in transit using encryption (TLS) and restrict access so you can only reach your own private data.

7. International transfers

Your information may be processed and stored on servers outside your country, including in the United States.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the date above when we do.
